Margie is wondering . . . where are all my teachers and NISD employees!? You know who you are… Debra, Bel, Adriana . . . shall I continue? Yes, the beginning of the school year is a rough time of year, I understand . . . but it's November PEOPLE! If you're not making it to the gym AT LEAST twice a week, then it's time to start setting time aside for yourself. Most of you know that the gym is not my house. Sometimes I feel like I live here, as you may sometimes feel about your work place. And I've just ended a SUPER hectic week, just as you may have. Now it's time to get back on track.
When life gets busy we can easily make other things and other people our priority. When it comes to family, you can't just flip the 'Off' switch; however, you have to make yourself a priority as well. If you read my blog last week, you saw how quickly I was able to pack on 8 pounds after Tayler left for college. With Halloween candy still laying around, potlucks at the office next week, and another week of temptation after that - you need to schedule some 'me' time. We all know how easily 2 pounds become 5 and 5 pounds become 10 . . . then you're faced with a whole new set of challenges in January. Stay on track during the holidays and continue making good choices so you have one less resolution for 2011. And let's start with getting rid of that leftover candy --- from now until Nov. 19th, bring your leftover candy to one of my classes (I will have a box on the stage) and we'll donate it to our troops through Operation Gratitude.
To help encourage you to get to the gym, at various times this week, I will showcase the beloved crazy pants! Also, don't miss Bootie Kick on Monday, it will be one to remember! If you can't make Bootie Kick - don't worry . . . I have been working hard on this week's classes and I promise they are all packed full of fun and all new challenges! Each day, I look forward to seeing you… and I do hope my teachers and NISD employees come see me soon...;))
